Pylon Signs

Also known as ground signs, pylon signs are usually large structures affixed to the ground either advertising the primary tenant of a building or listing a directory of tenants. Usually two sided and backbit, these signs are placed in high-visibility areas that can be seen by large numbers of people. Additionally, when customers are travelling on busy streets, pylon sign give the customer a view of the business name from a greater distance rather than waiting for the customer to see the sign when they’re already in front of the business.

Quite frequently pylon signs incorporate an LED or letter board sign to provide timely messaging. You will often notice these types of signs in front of car dealerships, restaurants, malls and hotels. The signs can be illuminated or non-illuminated.
